    Autograph opinions

Just curious what others opinions are on autographs....

Personally, I enjoy putting memorabilia up if I actually get the autograph….
I really don’t get much out of buying autographed items.

This July I will have a chance to meet Cris Carter at the Lake Tahoe Celebrity Golf Tournament.
From what I am told by many folks that have attended this event in years past, I will have no trouble at all getting CC to sign a jersey or hat for me.

I have both GOLD and SILVER paint markers……what color would YOU use for a jersey or hat?

Mike Eruzione will also be at the event.
I have found an “Eruzione” USA hockey jersey that looks very nice for about $90.
I think that would be a fun autograph to own as well.

    How about all of you?
Anyone else like to get autographs?
    How many just buy them?
Who thinks they are stupid and should be reserved for kids only?
    :-\
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

autographed memorabilia is cool, pieces of paper with an autograph on them are exactly just that... a piece of paper with a scribble.

    Re: Autograph opinions

I'm personally not that in to it.
But a signed piece of memorabilia hanging on the wall is pretty cool.
With that said, I'm not really into memorabila either.
If I ever end up with my own room in the house (Vikings themed of course),my attitude would probably change quickly.

    Re: Autograph opinions

I have a deer head, 4 turkey beards and a "Billy Bass" on my walls.
    No other memorabilia.
I do collect stuff though, got two Wheaties boxes (unopened) from 87 and 91 that are my prized pieces.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

He also has a full size Vikings helmet autographed by all 4 of the Purple People Eaters.

well, they do lose their value when you take them out of the original packaging.

No... when you get excited and open them up to take the free toy prize out.
