15 minutes left & it's up to $242.50. If you're going to bid, now is the time.

Re: Vikings vs Packers tix for sale: Charity Auction for Cancer victim

Well the auction is over & we raised $265.00 dollars for Claire. I n looking over the bidders list I couldn't tell for sure if anyojne from PP.O. bid on them or not.

If you did or you contributed in some other means, your support & effort is greatly appreciated.

I am happy to say the winner was from MN & therefore I am assuming she is a Vikings fan, but I e-mailed her to make sure & to let her know that all the proceeds from the auction will go to my terminally-ill former father-in-law & Viking_Queens grandpa.

Thank you again for your support.

Re: Vikings vs Packers tix:Charity Auction results

    Nice!

    Unsung heros never go unnoticed.
Great job to everyone. Cancer is a serious disease and I praise all that were involved in this great act of givingness.

My dad was recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
My mom heads a men's wellness clinic, which checks the prostate in males. a few times per year.
She has been forcing my father to go regularly over the past 4 years.
This year the cancer count was higher than normal and a biopsi confirmed the bad news, he had prostate cancer.
He had his prostate removed three months ago.
His recent check up showed no signs of cancer spreading after the removal.
Luckily they caught the cancer in the earlier stages and it didnt spread throughout the grion area.

Had my father not checked his prostate religiously over the last 4 years, he may not have caught the cancer in time.
Please get regular check ups MEN!

I'll pray for your ex-father in law Singer....and all that have battles with this illness.
