I know the economy plays a factor in that a little but I think the vikings face value is pretty fair compared to other nfl teams.

    WTF?
64,000+ people will be there on Sunday to watch them.
Their ratings are through the roof in Minnesota.
    That is hardly "barely anyone".

Everyone I know wants to watch them.
Some prefer to do it in the comfort of their own living rooms.
Not me, see you all early Sunday morning at the tailgate party.

    Green H,

I believe maybe you are basing some of that thought on the respons you have recieved here and probably some other Vikings Fan Sites, while trying to sell your tickets here and there.
Don't base your thoughts on that.
Most here already have tickets or just simply don't have the time or money to travel to MN.
    Many fans
here on PPO, and I believe the same would be true for most fan sites, don't even live in or near MN and many here are actually from overseas.
If you go to ebay, that is where your tickets would sell.
I've yet to see a ticket go unsold on ebay, unless like few, they are asking some outragous price.
Like some dickhead wanting $2,000 for a pair of tickets to the GB game.

I believe the two main reasons here are,
we already have tickets, or just live to far to make it to the games on a regular basis.
Hopefully NDV and you can hook up, looked like he was looking this AM for a pair of tickets to the opener...

I know I am in the minority, but I like the metrodome, just because of the pure energy you feel being in there, pretty darn loud, although the bathroom situation does really suck, maybe the worst I have seen anywhere.

Youv'e got that correct, the bathrooms are some of the worst I've ever been in, in any Pro sports venue....
One other thing I wanted to mention, many of the members here are much younger than you may think.
They just don't have the funds to buy a ticket and or even get to the stadium......Trust me, Vikings tickets sell, if placed in the right market...

I was able to sell the ravens and lions game for face, thats what makes it so surprising that no one will pay face for the home opener, especially this year.

The bowl in the Dome is fabulous.
Really not a bad seat in the house.
Certainly a better game-watching experience for the rabble (the upper deck types) than most modern NFL stadiums, where they are pushed higher and higher into the stratosphere in the name of club-level and suite revenue.

Yes, the bathrooms suck, but I've learned to deal with that and mostly have a good system worked out.
