Looking for info on Laptops..

My wife suggested today that we buy a laptop for me to use, seeing I'm going to be bed bound for the next 3 months.

If anyone has one for sale or knows of a friend trying to sell one, I'de like to read about it here.
Also, any and all recommendations about buying a used or new laptop would be very helpfull.

Would be really nice if all we had to do is buy an extra long cord also ( about 12 ft ) to reach from my service I have now to the laptop itself.
If this will even work at all.

bestbuy.com is where i got mine, my uncle paid 300 bux for it for graduation, its the base model, and its held up for 2 years now without any probs

Doesn't your router have wireless capabilities?
Most newer laptops should have wireless built in....or so I hear.

I am an admitted MAC snob ... and can recommend nothing but a MacBook ... which of course is going to cost you ... but you will NEVER be disappointed.

I have a 75' (might be 50') cord that is blue.
