I would put DT up against ANY band in the last 20 years or more. They may not be played every 5 minutes on the radio, but i assure you they will blow your mind with talent. Besides that, my friend lives in va., and i want to see all the attractions in DC.

I would put DT up against ANY band in the last 20 years or more. They may not be played every 5 minutes on the radio, but i assure you they will blow your mind with talent. Besides that, my friend lives in va., and i want to see all the attractions in DC.

I mostly agree with you about Dream Theater.
They are an absolutely amazing band.
Queensryche is no slouch either, but they were SO much better when Degarmo was there.
Both are well worth the money, however.

My best friend of 25 years, and his wife live there. He/they come(s) home every feb. at least to visit. I haven't been down there yet, so this seem like as good of an opportunity as any. Besides, we are going to be in DC alot of the time, and the concert starts early, so i'll barely see Charlottesville.

We are going to either Chicago or Vegas for our 3rd wedding anniversary, so we'll use that as our vacation. Keep in mind we have 2 boys, so it's not easy to get away for more then a night or 2 at a time.
