There are a few other Brits on here already, so you should feel somewhat at home!
Look under the menu on the left under Gameday, then under Vikings Bars...there should be at least one or two bars (and maybe even an establishment that calls themselves a "pub") that you can go to while in Denver!
GOOD LUCK!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: broncos dec 30
Hey blackcountyviking: I'm from Chicago and am seriously looking into getting tickets for this game as well. I have close friends who are Bronco fans and they live right outside Denver. I'm going to follow up with them and see where some of the good hangouts are and not just for Bronco fans either? Cajunvikes had a good suggestion for locating Viking establishments. As for tickets, I'd check this site first, then stubhub.com and you can always check the broncos.com as well. Good luck.

Re: broncos dec 30
Welcome to the board blackcountryviking - if you get the chance post a message in the "Free Beer" forum to introduce yourself to everyone.
The Vikes will have tickets but I think they tend to be offered to season ticket holders - correct me if I'm wrong guys.
Might also be worth asking over on a Denver Broncos site or looking to see if there are any links to ticket agencies from there. Try the Fan2Fan Alliance link on the PP.O homepage.
Also check TicketMaster as they often cover ticket sales for most sports events in the US as well.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: broncos dec 30
Hello fellow Viking brother,
The Vikings do not sell or arrange away game tickets for people, season ticket holders included.
I have spoken to the director of ticket operations a couple times and he says that even when players request tickets officially through the team, they only get upper deck seats.
I have also heard this from a couple other teams when I called to talk to them.
I guess it's possible that some veteran ticket account managers have connections at other teams, but I wouldn't try that route.
Broncos tickets will be sold on ticketmaster probably in July but are very limited.
They also have a ticketmaster fan exchange program where season ticket holders can sell their tickets, but those will probably be more last minute.
Just check NFL. com and go to their website under the ticket section.
I would just recommend using ebay but wait at least a month for the prices to go down a little.
You could also probably get a good deal just buying from scalpers outside the stadium as it will be the last game of the year and it will be the day before New Year's.
Just my opinion though. . .
Good luck and have fun!
