Re: 2009 Bengals vs. Vikings Tickets

Tickets to the Vikings/Bungals game: $100

Plenty of Beast to mask the pain $20 (cause it is cheap)

Seeing Marrdros face after Favre and the Vikings destroy the Bungals: PRICELESS!

I keep checking in and appreciate the advice from you guys !!!
My buddy Super Rand says I should get a Carson Palmer Jersey.....
I think I should get a JT Osullivan jersey (#4)......

My son came up with a good idea.....Get a LNAD #4 and put one of these .......

........over the number and have LNAD sewn in instead of Favre.......

    What do you think?
Instead of a JTO jersey, why not a JDB jersey.
Still number 4, and more people would get the reference.
That or the just say no jersey would both make a statement without turning your back on the team.

    JT huh ??
Well, if that's what you have to do then so be it, but I'm not really pleased with having him as a backup.
If Carson should happen to go down again, we are through.

I love everyone overlooking the Bengals and keeping giving the criminal tag that applies to far more teams than most are even aware of.
Mark my words, the Bengals WILL be a better team this year that will suprise some.

Once again, I'm a realist and not calling them a playoff team, but they aren't as bad as last years record indicates either.

    I would agree with this.
They had a solid draft, and more importantly, will have their franchise QB back.
Add that to a Chad Ochocinco who's just aching to show people he still has it, they will ruin a few games for teams.
I don't think they'll go playoffs, that division is too tough with the Steelers and Ravens, but something between 7-9 and 9-7 is certainly a possibility.

And the sad part is, do you know how happy a 9-7 record, regardless of the playoffs would make the fans ??

Seriously, it would at least be a sign that they are headed in the right direction, seeing as how they seemed to have lost thier map for the past 15 years or so...

    yep, I agree.
9-7 is a sure sign of improvement.
If that team drafts smartly, and picks up the necessary FA's to fill the gaps, they could be legitimate contenders.
However, the same could be said for almost all teams.
If it were as easy as just going out and doing that, don't you think they would have by now?

Why things remain as difficult for the Bengals seems to be a mystery to some, but without going into mega-bash mode (which is possible) the answer is simple.
The owner, Mike Brown, is quite possibly the worst owner in the history of owners.
Hell, even Al Davis has won a Super Bowl...

I'd say he one-ups the Lions organization..
The only time they made some noise was when they had the best RB in the history of the game playing for them.

Mike Brown has been fucking that franchise w/out lube for 30 years.

As to 2009 - I think the loss of Housh will really hurt your offense.
    9-7 would be amazing.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!
