Thread: Why can't I upload a Avatar?

all Iam getting is a red x or it stells me that it is not a avatar or it is 2 big. I have used both tinypic and photobucket and still nothing? any help would be appreciated.

I got rid of my picture today and I'm having the same problem getting a new one up.

You do not have the complete url in there for one.

^ that is lacking a .jpg or .gif extension.

And, I think that it is too big.

I actually tried the same pic I origonally had and still had the same thing

Even shrank it down still nothing

I have solved this for you.
I can either send you the edited picture to upload or send you to a link where I can host the picture.
The issue was the actual dimensions of the photo, not the file size.
The image you were trying to upload was 80 pixels by 100 pixels.
Once you resize the image to get the height under 100 pixels, you will then be able to upload the photo.

I just had to use a personalized pic still wont let me upload my own pics, and there sized right.

It's because the pic you are trying to use;

1. Is 83 x 100 & the max size is 80 x 80.
2. The file size is 8K & the max allowable is 6K.

I'll fix it for you & re-post it for you.

You need it less than 80 x 80 and 6 kb.
