Wav file download

I'm trying to download the Skol Vikings song to my PC but am having probs. I can get it playing when I click on download but can see how to save it as a .wav file - the only option I get is a HTML file
Anyone point me in the right direction please !

Where is the source that you are trying to download the file from?

I'm trying to download via the audio section on PP.O ( left side of screen ) and going to the file that way

You were saving the wrong thing. You ned to click on what you were saving and it brings you here http://www.purplepride.org/index.php?name=Downloads&get=44&mirror=36 where the wav link is.

Ok, ! do that and can have it playing on my PC now ( using real player ) - but what I'm trying to do is to then save it onto my PC .. thats the bit I'm having a prob with

Right click on Ultra's 2nd link & choose "Save Target As" & save it to a location of your chioce.

It will only take about 10 seconds to download.

Without starting a new thread, is there any way I can make (compress) an mp3 file to make it smaller. I need it for background music on the web.

It is taking dial up users tooooooo lonnnnngggggg to pull up the page.
