How about requiring a memeber to only type their user name and password ONCE instead of the six times I had to today to log in. People might actually post if it was easier.

No, it wasn't. I would type it in and nothing would happen it would go back to the same page. Also I get logged out sometimes just by going to different threads. Not to mention its incredibly slow.Quote:

I've been getting logged out AND in randomly. A few minutes ago it was showing me as guest...now I'm logged in...without actually logging in.Quote:

webby's too busy for us
Teach people how to copy and paste their quotes so we don't have to scroll through a vast mess of irrelevant posts before getting to what we actually need to read.
Lazy bums just hit the quote button every time.

Is he busy, yes?
When he has spare time and he is actually at home, he spends the time with his family.
If you have ever seen his Facebook posts you would realize he is out of town a lot. Out of town = paying the bills and putting food on the table (also paying for this site out of his own pocket).
He is more than aware of the fixes that are required. The site may not be perfect for every individual, but it is a place we all have decided to come to for Viking's football.
Do you think I like logging in all the time? Not particularly. But I take the 5 seconds to do and go on with my business.
The site is a lot faster than it was when it was first launched. The latest news and the yell slowed it down.
The fixes will come in time. Webby has always been at the forefront of providing the best and most innovative atmosphere for us and I am "ultra" positive that trend will continue.
It's kinda sad this thread got more posts on Veteran's Day than the Veteran's Day thread.

Webby does a great job! This is the most successful Vikings forum for a reason. (I kinda feel sorry for www.purple-pride.com)

One sure way to improve the site is by decreasing the tard:intelligent member ratio.
