No I want my name if that's possible.

    Re: Spell Check

I apologize for my rudeness Mr. 6-Kings. I was raised to use proper English. Of course I understand that this is the internet, and there is a possibility that there are people here not from my country. There may be people here that are not even from a native English speaking country.

I also understand that some great writers like Mark Twain couldn’t spell to save their lives. But I hold you to a higher standard good sir. If I am to spend my precious moments on a football fan site I expect those moments to be blissful and grace my eyes with correct spelling.

There is the off chance that you may have some sort of learning disability or that you have found a faster and easier way to communicate. But that is of no concern to me, I am far too intelligent to be bothered with who you are or why you do what you do. I do feel bad for stabbing you in the face. And so I am going to go ahead and take that back, but the John Wayne comments well now those will have to remain until you learn to spell pepperoni.

    My Dearest Friend Del Rio,
I recently read your post concerning my improper use of the written English language.
I must in all sincerity say thank you, thank you for bringing to my attention a problem that has been deep seeded within my family for years.
I have since embarked on a program of education to which I might say I am the best and the brightest student.
I recently received my degree in writing and proper equanimity, and at this time I wish to thank you for your kind words along with the not so veiled threat of "stabbing me in my face"

Let me assure you Mr. Del Rio that your advice along with the threat of physical violence has profoundly changed my life for the better.
I will now, and in the future strive for a more satisfying post filled with witticism and substance.
I also look froward to an even handed exchange of ideas and philosophies with you and other orators on this board.

    My Sincerest Regards,
    6-KINGS

Going through the forums and seeing tons of poor spelling just drives me nuts.

It's a serious pet peeve of mine, and I have seen other forums with a spell check, and was just wondering if it would be possible for it to be added.

Hopefully people would use it, but unfortunately you can not control that.
    Now c'mon ...
Spelling does suck throughout this site and most forums on the Internet, and being in the newspaper business, it is a peeve of mine as well, but ...

It is not that big of a deal. I do get upset that offense and defense are constantly spelled with a 'c' instead of an 's' at the end ... and definitely hate when definitely is spelled definately ...

    Dear PPO Members,
Recently this thread concerning the proper use of the written English language has appeared on this board. With a doubt many of you have read this thread and encountered my blatant disregard for the English spoken and most of all written within the continental United States.
That is why at this time I would like to say that I like “pepperoni and green olive pizza.
For me the spicy taste along with the firm texture of the pepperoni combines with the sour/salty essence that the olive brings to this dish.

The history of the Pepperoni is enthralling, please take this time to follow the link listed below and study along with me the fascinating world that is Pizza.

Just remember fellow posters, when it comes time to post your thoughts, be bright, be right and spell check twice.
Because who knows who might be reading your post. It could be the King of a foreign land, or a young bushman in the outback.

So take it from 6-KINGS, punctuate before you pontificate.

Until next time this is 6-KINGS saying so long and spell strong!
