Re: Site loading old page??
delete your cookies and temporary files.
To do this go to tools>internet options.
Then by browsing history, it will give you the option to delete your history, files and cookies.
Deleting the cookies should do the trick.
then close and restart IE and log back in.
Hopefully it should fix itself.

I emailed webby and asked what was going on and he didn't know either.

First of all, delete your favorite/bookmark link to PP.O. Also reset your homepage to something else. Then go to your cookies & delete those. Also make sure your browser is set to "Accept all cookies".Need help. I have the site set as my homepage in internet explorer. I click the button and ppo pops up. For about two weeks or so, I will enter my user name and password and I get a message: Error, check your cookie settings. It won't let me log in. Then I will turn off the computer and turn it back on and click the E icon and PPo will come on as usual. But instead of signing in, I just click a topic and it pops up and I'm already signed in! What's up? Do I need to always log out and in from "home" or what. It's drivin me nuts.
Then type in or paste this: http://www.purplepride.org/forums/ & create a new favorite/bookmark link & set that as your home page. Once you login & set it to forever, you shouldn't need to login again if you use the same browser.
Just out of curiosity, are you using a Mac or a PC? Did you download the PP.O toolbar from the old site?

Home page only?when I open my browser and type in pp.o it loads an older version of this site.
I then have to press refresh if i want to see any new posts under "from the huddle".
I'm just wondering is this site setup to do that, or is it just me.
It happens on all computers I use, not just my home one.
I also use Firefox if that helps.
This is also the only site that i've noticed this happens with (not that i go to any other site) :

No problem. I'm guessing your bookmark was still tied to the old page. Not exactly sure how cookies work, but if you have a bookmark, I'm thinking a cookie is tied to it & can't be deleted until the bookmark is. Since I'm not PC savvy, that's just a guess."singersp" wrote:
