Re: Site issues
Using Mozilla (most recent update) the site is really slow at times over the last few weeks.
I get a lot of timing out.
Any thoughts!

Re:Site issues
I've been a big fan of PPO for years now.
But I gotta admit, maybe I'm getting to the first phase of cranky ole man.
But can you just DUMB down the site, I don't need all this extra stuff.
I loved the site when it was simple and fast.
I'm still here posting less because of the speed, but please if possible turn off some of these Web 2.0 features.
Still a supporter just making a suggestion!
Thanks!300
The rigors of Spartan life. Leonidas is cast out into the wild, and survives the harsh winter to return to his home, when he is crowned King ....a Viking!

Vikes, message me. I actually stripped about 60% of unused features out of the site.I've been a big fan of PPO for years now.

So there is less than before, but what is there is more powerful and easy to use. I have no idea what web 2.0 means as I didn't do much in that realm...
Speed is an issue of our traffic/host/site code as a combo...we are optimizing our code as fast as possible! We keep climbing in traffic and lurkers and its some growing pains.
THanks, look forward to hearing from you. SKOL.

Re:Site issues
I have one complaint/suggestion.
I'd love if it were possible to format PM's.
What I mean by that, is in regular posts, I can leave big gaps like this " " or use line breaks
like that. Can't do that in PM's. Can't use smilies either or post [img] tags or anything like that like we used to be able to. Is it possible at some point to re-enable those features?
I know you're a busy guy, so no big hurry or anything
