Site issues
These are the various issues I've encountered with increasing frequency over the past week or so:
  * "Server Too Busy" messages - today, that's happened with almost every

post I've tried to make.  Click "Post", wait, wait, wait, then get that message.

Click Refresh on the page and then go back to the "new post" screen with

everything highlighted in Red and complaining about there being no subject

on my post.  But my original post IS posted.
  * Inability to message in the Yell.  I type a message and then either

press Enter or click Send - and instead of inputing the message, the site

attempts to refresh the page.
  * General hangs and lags while loading pages.  I'm hitting refresh very often

these days, as things hang.  Lots of CTRL-F5-ing, too.

Update:
this post went in just fine, as normal.
Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re: Site issues
Those dang CMEs.
FWIW, I have had all those issues before as well..........but then, I'm on dialup. Although as a lady, I never go around CTRL-F5-ing. Ewww.
Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

Re: Site issues
It is really slow for me too.
As for the yell issue I can help you so far as I've discovered that the site will refresh if you send/press enter without the page being fully loaded.
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Re: Site issues
There are times when it loads great and then other times it will only partially load and then hang up and other times nothing will load at all. Sometimes if I hit the "stop" loading button and then refresh it will load up normally.

Re: Site issues
I don't want to speak for Webby as I am not familiar with his setup, however, what we have been experiencing over the past couple of days (at least for me) is indicative of a adjustment to the "Flood Control" setting on the server.
Flood control settings (or whatever Webby uses) are used for alot of things but mostly are helpfull in preventing spammers from bringing down a server through a malicious attack or used for balancing numbers of people online (searching/posting/chatting) and available bandwidth.
Again, I am not sure what Webby has for this function but I am sure that when he gets back/available a minor tweak and things will be right again.

Whenever I try to download pictures it makes me enter my credit card number.
Oh wait.
Wrong site.

(Yes, I know it's not a "true" MS site, but it's bad enough!)
Personally, I think we need a frigging reboot on the server, but that's just me.
