Sig for Vikes2611
Yes, Ultra, he apologised to me. It's all good. I discovered a new technique on this one, pretty much by accident. I like the results.

Nice one josdin00, like the way it has come out and I reckon Vikes2611 will be impressed with it.
Incidentally - do you know of a way to select what remains of a pic once you have masked out the background etc ? I'm ok with the masking but its trying to extract whats left that I'm having probs with - probably me just being stupid at the moment but I can't figure it out - any tips ? only I like the finish I get with masking as opposed to using the extraction tool
Thanks !Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: Sig for Vikes2611
Well, you can hold down the ctrl button and click on the layer mask in the layers palette. That will create a selection based on the white and grey areas of your layer mask (excluding the black areas). Then just copy and paste into a new layer. (if you're using a soft edged brush to create the mask, I've found doing a couple Filter->Sharpen->Sharpen Edges on the mask helps create a cleaner cut.)

Thanks for the sig Josdin. I'm glad we got everything worked out. The sig looks really good man, didn't expect anything less than greatness from you when it comes to sigs thought.
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.
