    Searching for a new Laptop

I need to get a new laptop for my wife. She had a Dell, but the power supply seemed to have died. Anybody have a sujestion what to get? I'm not looking for something top of the line. She mostly uses it for internet games and word processing stuff for school. Also, anybody know where I can get a deal? Thanks in advance.

I got a 17 in. PowerBook G4 for x-mas last year, and I love it! I had owned PCs all my life (most of which I built myself) but I honestly like the Mac OS better. You can buy refurbished Macs from Apple's website for a lot cheaper than a brand new computer, and they come with a warranty and everything. I know you said you're not worried about power, but my laptop is easily able to run games like World of Warcraft (granted not at the highest settings).
PM me if you'd like a sig.

I am looking for a PC. All the software that I would be putting on it (MS Office, Ect. is PC based. Thanks though.

Avoid Toshiba like the plague. I had one a while ago and it would overheat and randomly shut down. Other than that, I cannot say much else as I own a new mac laptop.
I Love Kerry Collins (and John Rocker).

Well you could get one of the new MacBook Pros with the Intel chip, install Bootcamp, and run Windows and OS X
Understandable though, most people prefer PCs. Listen to WVV, avoid Compaqs like the plague! My friend has a Dell laptop and he seems happy with it.
