private messages

[b]My inbox shows I have a message and when I go to read it my folder says no new messages. I got a email in my yahoo mail clicked it and said I had no new messages but it says I have one from webby

He may have sent it, then deleted it in hos outbox.

When a PM is sent it has to be held somewhere. It is held in your "outbox" until the recipient reads it.

So, go to your account. If there are any messages in the "outbox" that is because the recipient has yet to read it.

I checked all my folders they are all empty and it still says 1 new message

Mine always says one new message to. When it says that I have 2 new messages, then I know that I got a new one.

For some reason, it ALWAYS says you have 1 new message, even when you don't. Like coreychavous21 says, when it says 2 new messages, that means you have 1 new one.

Mine always says "0".

I never get the pop-up while I am on and somebody PM's me. Its when I leave the site and then come back that I get the pop-up.

I turned off the email notify; too many emails.
