Ok, another PC ?
I put my old C: Drive in an external enclosure.
I have a ton of programs and files I need.
Anyways, do I have to reinstall my old programs or do anything special?
Or can I just run them?
Also, I had a boatload of IE bookmarks.
I somehow cannot seem to locate these on the old drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Ok, another PC ?
See, I go to my old drive under Documents Settings>Owner and I cannot access it.
That is where my bookmarks for IE are.
It has to be stored somewhere?

Re: Ok, another PC ?
Isn't your new computer a Vista & your old computer a XP?
I'm not an expert, but since IE is running off your new HD don't you have to import your bookmarks from the old drive to the new one?

You will be missing dll's and registry entries
Your bookmarks should still be accessible.
Message me if you would like some additional help.

Re: Ok, another PC ?
I talked with webby and it is a permission issue.
Can be solved.
My old is XP, and I got XP w/ the new (screw Vista).
Yes, I do have to get them but I cannot access that folder.
That is the folder that is only accessible when you are logged in.
When you have different user accounts on a PC this is the stuff that the other users cannot see,

I cannot.
This folder was only accessible when I was signed in and given the permission on my old PC.
