Thread: This is not a joke, prayers are needed very much at this time...

I don't have it in me to type all the details again.
I've been on the computer and phone all day, trying to save my nephew " HANSIE'S " life.







I'm going to just copy and paste what has been going on today for us and this copy has been sent to a number of American / Filipino web site forums I belong to.
So far, no news on a donor, but many are trying their best to help at this time..








All I ask of you fellow PPO'ers is for prayers.....

I just found my wife crying in our kitchen.

Our nephew who is 8 is dying from Denga Fever.

They are looking for a donor, B-plus type blood is needed.

A few years back my niece had the same ordeal, but luckly I was there to help with the situation.

I've noticed the family gets over run with emothions during bad situations and they don't stop and think.

If I could, I'de fly there now myself, but I don't even know if there is enough time to do that at this point. I'm O positive anyways.

Please, and I don't ask for help often, but this is a child who we love very much and we need help now.

Please spread the word thru other Cebu Forum type boards if you know of any. I'll be doing what I can from here. Money isn't the question, if needed for someone to travel to Cebu City and have a place to stay, I could forward money to you.

He is in the Perpetual Socor Hospital.

Please look into that also, when my niece was sick, they wouldn't take her anywhere and when I demanded it, they directed me to the hospital in Toledo City.. I didn't even stay there for 15 minutes......I hired a car and we sped to Cebu City......

I don't know this Perpetual Socor, if there is better there in Cebu City, maybe you could help me see that they make a hospital change...

I feel so far away now....But hopefully someone will understand and be willing to help..

I'm so sorry to hear that Ned. I'm A+ myself.

I don't think there is anything I can do on my end except pray, but if you know of something, please don't hesitate to ask. There is not even a Filipino population in my neck of the woods.

Isn't there anyone in Margies family or in Sagay with B+ blood that you could get to the hospital?

I'm sorry to hear this is happening to such a young guy. He and all his family will be in my prayers.

I'm very sorry to hear that Ned.. In all honesty, I have no idea what blood type I am.. Is that type of blood more common in the asian communities? If I knew of anyone, or I myself was that blood type, I would help in a instant.. I will say a prayer for your family.. If there is anything at all that I could possibly do for you, please ask..

B+ is very common.
I am B+ and you should not have a hard time getting a donor.
