If have read your instructions on the help and I still cannot get a sig to work.
I found this awesome old school picture, is it possible that the pic just will not work?

Ok, if this pic was going to work in your sig it would have appeared in your post because you had it properly tagged. In the URL [img]www.vikingupdate.com/. ../browner1.jpg[/img] the 3 dots in the middle means something is missing. It has the 3 dots here when I did it too, it is just shortening the URL on this page. But, run you mouse over the link I made and all of the URL is there. The URL is incomplete. This is the URL you need: http://www.vikingupdate.com/history/historyprofiles/browner1.jpg
Now when I place it between the [img] tags: http://www.vikingupdate.com/history/...s/browner1.jpg
Here's what you do.
1. Go to www.photobucket.com and open a free account. You will "host" your pics there.
2. Find a pic you like, like the Browner pic. Save it to your PC.
3. Upload the pic to photobucket and host it.
4. Place the hosted URL tag in the sig portion of your profile.
It may sound like a headache, but it is very easy and convenient.
Linking pics to your sig does not always work. Hosting them is the way to go.
Let me know if you need more help.
Got the photobucket account and it worked perfectly thanx for all the help ultra!
Would like to thank ultra for helping me with my sig.
The instructions in the sticky were very helpful.
No problem. I make it a point to help others because I got a lot of help from the great members here when I started!
