I have used Napster, Aimster, and WinMX until they recently shut down. I now use LimeWire and it works pretty well.

eDonkey is slick. The software is not crap pop-ups and ads.

Having other sites linked to music files here could increase the bandwidth usage quite a bit. Especially if they are bkg music for a web page. I suspect that Webby has enough to foot the bill for just running this site. I would suggest that you get an inexpensive host and set up you own ftp index for linking songs. You can find hosting for as little as 8 bucks a month. Try Powweb.com
