hey i've got a computer question for anybody that is good with computers. i downloaded an mp3 and it isn't the right song, so i tried to delete and it won't let me. so does that mean i just d/led a virus or something else is wrong? any input would be great thanks

tried that and it comes up with an error saying "cannot delete file: it is being used by another program or person"

nobody have any other ideas? i tried scanning it with my virus scanner and it didn't show up as a virus but it won't go away. i closed all the programs on my comp and it still won't go away.

Ive had that happen to me before, Close everything but that file...and try...if that dosnt work...call your computer provider

what do you mean by a computer provider? i bought it at best buy, but they didn't give a tech number or anything to call if i was having problems.

call best buy, tell them you bought it htere and your lookin for a assitence with it...they should give you some sorta number or the geek squad

If you downloaded it off of Limewire (or Kazaa or a similar program) someone else might be uploading it, in which case you can't delete it. If it's Limewire, go to the Moniter section and you can see what people are uploading from your hard drive. If that song is being uploaded, cancel it and then try to delete it.
