there's a way to configure it to do what you want. The only problem I have had with FireFox is that if you have an embedded e-mail on a web page you want to mail, clicking on it will not bring up your e-mail program as it does in IE. It will show the address at the bottom of the page you are not but not link directly with your e-mail program.
I know because if i click on an email address it opens Outlook. (crap program btw)
however I don't use it, so it doesn't matter
about FF, It is far better than IE.
You will likely need to reinstall plugins like flash media player, but everything runs smoothly, and the best thing about it is unlike IE, if firefox crashes, you can restart it no problem, and it even saves what pages you had going so you don't have to do any searching.
If IE crashes, since its integrated with windows, it can make windows itself unstable also.

I use the Firefox too... Plugins and addons is a dream... really!
But sadly enough, some sites still do need IE, for example, I cannot get streamed Video to work on FF. I might have screwed it up when installing so many plugins in a vain effort of trying to stream Vikingsgames for free. Also my internetbank works better with IE.

You used to be able to do that but when the update to FireFox 3 came along, it won't allow me to do it. At least I can't figure it out."COJOMAY" wrote:

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

Perhaps you have to set outlook or whatever you use as a default mail manager?

Re: Mozilla Firefox Users
See...that's what I love about this site; you ask people you trust and get good, honest answers.
Thanks guys!
It's better than reading reviews and complaints.

best thing is, if you decide you don't like it, easy to get rid of.
