What you are dealing with is more advanced than any problem that can be fixed on this site. I would suggest searching your problem on google and trying to find a tech help site.

Have you tried using the add/remove programs feature in your control panel? Click start, then select control panel. Select Add/Remove programs then find Itunes and any Ipod software and remove it. You may have to also remove Quicktime player. And no, you will not lose your music. Your .mp3 files are on your local disk (c

That's the problem.. Itunes has disappeared and when I try to install I get this:

Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Run Time

I looked that up and none of the solutions to the problem worked.
