I can't quote people

If i click "quote" button on the post, all that happens is a green bar with the legend "loading" on it appears at the top of my screen. I have tried letting this sit for awhile ot see if anything happens, and i have not gotten anything yet.

I can cut-and-paste words and put a quote around them like we would for something from an article or another site.

Has anyone else had this problem, or is it something wrong with me?

Any fixes?

Working fine here.
When I get a glich of any sort on this site I usually hust go and delete my cookies and relogg in.

That usually fixes all.

I tried cleaning out all of my temp files, my cookies, all that, and it did not help.

It happens when you try to quote someone while you also have the quick reply box open. If you click the minus sign in the upper left hand of the quick reply box to close it, you'll then be able to quote a post. There is a setting in your profile options that will automatically have that box closed when you load a thread. If you go to your profile, and go to the "look and layout preferences", near the bottom, there will be an option called "Use Quick Reply on topic display". Set that option to "Show, off by default". You'll have to open the quick reply box when you want to use it, but you'll be able to quote without a problem.
