I think we should have "awards" given to players on the Vikes for different reasons at the end of the year. We can make all of the awards now and get everything all organized and then have everyone on the site vote at the end of the season. Or maybe we could have the awards given weekly. For example, we could have: "The Sack of Steel Award" for the gutsiest player that week, or the "Most Improved" to keep things on a somewhat serious note. Half funny stuff, half serious. If you all think its cheezy or won't work out, just say so...I won't cry too hard. But what do you all think?

You know how Madden has that team bus, RV, horse trailer or whatever it is that he puts his player(s) of the game on at the end of the game. I'd like to get a big picture of one of the urinals at the Metrodome & post pictures of players, coaches, announcers, refs, columnists etc. who we hated the most that week via vote. Madden gets a honorary 1st up, simply because - well - he's Madden.

Ya thats a cool idea, Have our own Players of the week, Player on the Uprise, Player on the Decline so on and so forth...good idea.

We already have the PP.O weekly salute to players on the home page...been doing it for years...would have to think about the others.

Yeah, I've seen the thing on the front page. I think it would be good dicsussion to talk about who deserves what award, etc. and good entertainment to pick the funny awards and such. Just an idea..

That would be fucking sweet. Anything to make the site better. The site already gets better as the season gets closer but it would be really cool to have more fun stuff for us to do on weekdays.
