Thats the cheapest I came up with also Zeus, but leaving at 5:30 am would be tough, I'de end up hanging in MN airport for hours, waiting for singer to get out of work....I'de end up eating the difference in cost up....LOL

I'm not a penny pincher by any means, so $300 and under I consider a great deal these days....





It's worth it to spend the extra $50 bucks to get times and direct flights to work for you.
Just wanted to see if I was missing some speical somewhere, but looks like we are all coming up with roughly the same searches and price ranges.




Don't really feel like hanging out at Philly airport with my Viking gear on anyways, I'm running out of cains.....LOL




Plus, sometimes those hook ups backfire, and it screws up your travel plans big time.





Looks like I'm going to go with something in the $270 RT Direct Range....Hart to Minny and Back the same...

I remember hearing one time that the cheapest tickets can be found late at night.

This probably won't help you Ned but may be of interest to others. SouthWest Airlines has some great deals going on right now. I just booked my flight two days ago from Baltimore to Minneapolis, $89 each way. Can't beat that!

LOL, good one Anglo...Never thought of that...I would need some big ass feathers to get me off the ground..LOL





But anyways, I just booked a combo, of tickets.
Trains and Planes.....
Train from my house to NYC, Fly to Minny....

Return, Fly to NYC, Train back to my house....






Everything came to $220........


And all rather comfortable times to work with.
I always enjoyed the train from CT to NYC anyways....Cheep travel for sure.

And huge difference, flying from NYC to MN, rather than Hartford, CT to Minny.

I just saved an easy $100 bucks, but best part is, times work out great for me and my wife, and the thought of David and him going to school those days....






Singer, I'll be arriving the evening of Sept. 30th....Not Oct. 1st.

I fly in on US Airways 7:38 PM.
