Help with Minnesota Fishing question....
I'm seriously thinking about coming to Minny for some Ice Fishing...
Is there anyone here who could suggest a nice lodge or Bed and Breakfest type place that caters to Ice Fisherman?..
I might even try to make the trip for the Minny Chicago game..
I've always wanted to visit Minnesota, do some fishing, watch the Vikes at home, and visit that big mall you have..
I will more than likely be bringing my son with me also....
Thanks for the help..

Re: Help with Minnesota Fishing question....
If you want to fish for ice can't you just go trolling in your freezer for a couple of cubes?

Can you still fish with dynamite in Minnesota?
I have some fond memories of blasting up some big fish there in my childhood.

As long as you don't get caught!
I wouldn't recommend it in the winter time though, it's a tad bit dangerous.
But it does save a whole lot of time instead of drilling holes!

Re: Help with Minnesota Fishing question....
Some of the best ice fishing in the state is lake of the woods but that is WAY up north. You are pretty much gonna catch some walleyes up there but it is way away from the mall and the vikes.

Well carry a rubber raft out and sit in it while the stuff blows.
I remember one year I caught 426 fish.

Shawn or others,
Can you name some of the better lakes to fish, that are near the city?..
Maybe I could do a search on them...
