Good thing work pays for it!
BTW I am beta testing Windows 7 (the newest Windows OS) and I freaking love it!
Has anyone else messed with it?

I'm not really sure but it can't be more than 3-4 years old.
It's an imac with 10.4.11.
I think we've had it for maybe 3-4 years and I'm pretty sure it was brand new when we got it.

but other than that you can't go wrong with a mac, that is untill they start becoming the most used type of computer, and then adware and virus makers will start targeting that instead of windows.

Everything works well except my printer driver, which should be updated later (its just a cheap printer anyway, so i'm not too concerned)
Has no real bugs, since its basically a modified version of Vista, minus any bugs.
Only problem i have is Daemon Tools doesn't work, but once 7 is released as a final version, it will work.

Re: Computer question
lol If I had a ton of money or even a steady income, my store closed down, I'd buy a mac. For the mean time, any one have a trusted link to get a anti-virus and firewall?

Thanks Josdin

Re: Computer question
I's sure the AOL & ISP's are nothing more than ads to get you to connect to an ISP after you first buy a computer & are part of & on the recovery discs. I just remove them & forget about them.
I use AVAST & don't have any problems. AVAST was recommended by Webby, so I certainly trusted it.
Download AVAST from here;
http://www.avast.com/eng/home-registration.php
Also download Ad-Aware from Lavasoft;
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
Then go here to download Spybot Search & Destroy;
http://www.majorgeeks.com/
As previously mentioned, when you run SS & D & it comes up with those AOL & ISP ad's, simply quarantine them.
Majorgeeks.com IMO, is one the best locacations to go to find & download free software.

AOL is a virus.I've got a quick computer question for all you computer geniuses. I recently restored my computer with recovery discs that was sent by HP. I updated all the windows crap, installed Service Pack 3, installed Windows Defender, and then downloaded and installed Avast from download.com. I had it do a scan when the computer was rebooting and it came up with, I believe, an adware. I'm not entirely sure because I deleted it. Then I did a thorough scan the next day and it came up with an adware in the file that held all the AOL, and ISPs. After this I decided to restore my computer again and see if the same thing happened. Did the exact same thing once my computer was recovered, scanned my harddrive again and those two files came back up. I don't know if anyone will be able to help since I didn't write down the files or what they were infected with. Is this something that is appearing on my harddrive with the original files on the recovery discs, something about where I got Avast from, or could my harddrive be corrupted.
I know.
I used to work there.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I use Comodo(Type into Google), they do a free Firewall/Anti Virus Combo for free, its worked great for me. Setting up the firewall and getting used to how it works took a little time but it works great. They have an entire site of QA and Guides on how to use the software.lol If I had a ton of money or even a steady income, my store closed down, I'd buy a mac.
