I've used that also. A good one.another good one is spybot search and destroy. it gets most of the spyware out there, even gets some that ad aware misses. my dad actually has both programs running on his computer.

Re: Computer Help
I tried two different ones. It'd scan but it wouldn't let me remove the files. Anybody know a program that will let me remove them?

Thanks Josdin

Well I say you're in luck my friend.

Read the: READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support Thread, Follow the instructions carefully and do EVERY step. They have a strict rule about it, If you still feel unsure or having problems. Read the part on how to post.
These people are very skilled at removing Malware give em a chance.
If you want my opinion get rid of NAV it's bloatware.
Go with Avast! 4.6 AntiVirus and
Kerio personal Firewall.
They are both free and very effective.

100% agreed. Spybot is the best I have seen and have tried many out there to clean up. Then Trend has PC Chillin' ... like $25 a year, but WELL worth it. Has automatic updates instead of going out for patches, etc. ... it handles them all for ya.

Re: Computer Help
Ok, I know that I may be in the minority here. But, I do not run a anti-virus program. I rely on my firewall and I scan my system with Spybot a few times a week. Sure, I have had some Spyware. But for the past 2 years I have never had anything harmful. Anti virus slows me down way too much.
I had Ad Aware and hated it. It sucks. Get Spybot, its free and rocks!

Re: Computer Help
Ultra,
Not running an AV is dangerous. Spybot is a little overrated it cannot catch the things that can be very harmful.
Go here http://www.ewido.net/en/
And run the free scan real quick.
(I am a Computer Tech and software consultant) Just incase you're wondering =P
