Building Comp - Feedback
Looking for Feedback!
I am on a budget, this isn't a top of the line deal at all.
Needs:
Hopefully a Dual Core.
Want to run a PhotoBrowser, Nikon Capture and Photoshop CS at the same time.
Minimal Movies and Even fewer needs for gaming.
I might put a copy of Flight Simulator on there sometime in the future?
Am I missing anything? Any known flaws? Any pointers?

Man do you need that big of a power supply? I just picked up a Thermaltake 450w from PC club for 25$ after rebate. I mean I don't know how much that is but I would trim the fat to save some $$ if you could.
I really like the graphics card. I have the same one in one of my computers and it does a fine job.
2gb of ram is plenty, I have 4 in my gaming machine and honest to god at a certain point it's hard to tell the difference.

Hell you could cut back on the PS even get a bit smaller HD, go with 1GB of ram to start off with and you will have saved enough to get you a 19' LCD flat screen for your computer.

I started trying to trim fat, then I gave up.
Where I wanted to save money, the only thing that seemed like significant dollars, was RAM.
But then I was reading the reviews on the Board and for seemless install, it seemed like the good reviews came from the people that had the mega $$ Cors Air 4-4-4-12 XMS bad boys.
After that, I gave up, it was about $90 more than I was thinking when I started.
I probably don't need a lot of what I have.
But, if I can get a stockpile of gas, bomb shelter, time machine back to the cold war days and a generator, I will be set for a nuclear winter.

Sometimes talking computers with people who make them or are into them are like talking cars, some people like to cram as much under the hood as possible, bigger is not always better. I've seen plenty of 350 chevy small blocks tear up 396 big blocks at the raceway."Del" wrote:

Looks like a burner though. If you have any problems piecing it together or run into issues with your bios let me know. When I send you the OS I will include my cell #.
