    Avater help

    Need help with uploading an av. I have it on photobucket, and I tried copying and pasting all three of the URLs they give into the link to another site, but it wouldn't work (said could not connect to link). Am I doing something wrong?? :?: :?: :?:

    Did you read the sticky? Pics, Sigs, and Avatars Help

    Second, once it is properly hosted you need to put the URL in the proper location in the avatar section of your profile: Link to off-site Avatar.
    It will look like: http://.somethinghere.com. The size has to be less than 80x80 and 6 KB's.

    *Avatars have to be either in JPG or GIF format

    Does the fact that it is a moving/animated pic make a difference?

    No.

    As long as it is in gif or jpeg format. An animated gif will be larger but most must be under 6 KB.

    Nope.

    I PM'd you the reason this will not work, mainly that it is 444 KBs in size when we have a 6 KB limit.
