Avatar Upload - not working - need Webby help

Webby!

Need your help - I'm trying to upload an avatar and it's not working for me.
I changed my avatar once this AM (to an animated .gif) and then when I try to change it back (uploading from my hard-drive), it doesn't work and I'm defaulted to "No Pic" on my avatar choices.

I am able to load a new one from a website or use one of the site's default images (including, interestingly, lots of the avatars of current members).

Is there a cache issue with my account or something?
No errors that I can provide to give guidance, it just doesn't load it.

I do not think you can upload it from your PC.
I know it was that way a long time ago.

Just host it.

this happend to me too! i had a darren sharper pic and when i tried to change it to a pic of the vikings snowman i built, it wouldnt show up, and i couldnt get the sharper one back so i just had to chose a pic from the options. when i tried to use one from that picture hosting site it was really really big and messed up all the margins.
