Anybody been to a Detroit Lions home game in Detroit?

I'm getting mixed answers, at detroitlionsforum.com
some say I'll be fine, others say i'll be fine, untill the stabbings and muggings happen, some say wear a lions jersey (cuz they think i own one... :-\ ) or neutural coat outside the stadium, and one said that holstered weapons are fine in Ford Field, so as long as i'm fastest off the draw i'm fine.
I suspect some of them are pulling my leg.

All this violence and potential violence is pretty pathetic. I think it's cool when people love their teams, but this is just retarded. For the Eagles playoff game at the dome, it seemed like the Philly fans were being more cocky and threatening than the Vikings fans lol.

I haven't been to a Minnesota vs Green Bay game yet though either.

The vast majority of NFL fans are not assholes.
But certain teams seem to have a contingent of extreme fans who ruin the experience for everyone.
At the playoff game we had some great Philly fans tailgate with us before the game.
But there was also some fat drunk Philly fan trying to start a fight in the bathroom at halftime.
It really is ridiculous.

from what I hear, they're relatively civil, more so than other teams.
generally packer and vikings fans are relatively tame... untill of course you throw a beer bottle at ned :P

I don't see why you couldn't although I doubt there will be many wearing a Detroit Lions Jeresy anyways (Would you?), let alone any fans there in the first place.

I saw the Vikings beat the Bills in Buffalo, proudly wearing purple and had no problems.
