Wyoming Vikes fan
Hi all,
I've bled purple since 1976 when my friend Dain Boothe gave me a Chuck Forman 1,000 yarder card. That was the fateful day I got on the ship to stay. Although from Wyoming, I have traveled to Minny for the last several years to see at least one home game. Other than that, my Sunday Ticket from DirecTv keeps me alive week to week. That Sunday Ticket is a gift from God to a Vikings fan in Wyoming, as I used to miss many games each season.
In a lot of ways, I feel like native Viking fan. If there's a colder place with more snow than MN in the states, I'm in it.
I love to talk about the Vikes and look forward to speaking with you all. I teach high school here, and my students get tired of me wearing Vikes shirts (collared, of course) and talking about them all first semester. My son is my partner all season, and I'm raising him right. He actually cried when the Vikes lost to Pack recently. I took that a good sign I'm setting him on the right path. Purple Pride looks like a great place to be. Go Vikes
