Wisconsin Viking Fan

I'm 22 years old and Born and Raised in Genesee Depot, WI. Im sure none of you know where it is, so it's a rinky dink town about 25 miles west of Milwaukee. I was a bit of a rebellious child and would not submit to the Packer brain washing of my father, brothers, and various other relatives. Became a Viking fan, in I think it was 88, Wade Wilson's pro bowl year for sure, not that I knew much about the game at that point at 6 years old, but Wade was indeed the man, at least to me. And Ive stuck with the Vikings ever since. I follow sports somewhat religiously, especially football. I follow Notre Dame football as far as college goes. Baseball, I stuck with the home team, Go Brew Crew. I follow the Lakers (although, I have developed a strong disdain for Kobe Bryant, so don't look for me to defend him) in the NBA, and the Marquette Warriors (always the Warriors) in college basketball.

My lifelong wish is to see the Vikings win a Super Bowl, before I can die a happy man. Hopefully they can get it done.

I think they're on the right track and look to be building a championship defense- if they can solidify the linebacking core, to go with what should still be a pretty good offense, even without Moss.

That's about all I got right now.

I too was raised in Wisconsin, Green Bay to be specific. So I also know how tough it can be being a fan of the Purple and Gold in the land of cheese. The ironic thing is that I may be moving back to Wisconsin in a year or two so now my son will have to go through the same thing.
