Vikings fan in Houston

So....people ask me ALL the time why I am a Vikings fan...I was born in Kentucky and have lived in Texas most of my life; but for the past 20 years have been a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan. Truth be told, it's no real interesting story....I was dating a guy back then who was Mr. NFL; and honestly, I was not much into it (yea, I was young and clueless, ha)...so this guy was doing his best to teach me the game - all the rules/plays, etc. It was right before regular season was to start and I had a dream, and all I remembered from the dream was the Vikings helmet... -- I called my brother and asked him which team was purple with a white wing on their helmet - he said the Vikings, and the rest is history. I KNOW.... L A M E story, but it's the truth.

My all-time favorite is Cris Carter -- do have luv for #4 this season (although my purple heart still gets confused at times, ha) and I'm a big fan of Chester Taylor; I call him Chester-Cheeto - just because it's fun to say!

Teams I can not stand are Green Bay (duh) and Dallas. Other teams I like are the Texans and Cardinals...(except when they play the Vikings of course!)

I was on another fan site and there seemed to be 'drama' daily there, SO I deleted my page there and created this one....I'm hoping to meet and get to know TRUE FANS of the Vikings -- the only kind of game playing I like to see are the Vikings kicking a**, that's it, period.
