Re: Utah Vikings
Welcome to the site man, I am the one who e-mailed you before, from the other site.
I think if you stick around you will find this board is far more active. So if you are looking to start your Utah chapter this would be a good place to do it.

Welcome, all are welcome, go into the light children, all are welcome, there is peace in the light children.
Utah huh.
There is this one guy on the board here, I need you to keep an eye on him.
Maybe take him "hunting" but be careful accidents happen ya know.

Skol!!!
I had a hard time finding anyone but Broncos fans in the SLC area. Hope you have better luck. At least you've got one bro in Del Rio.

Re: Utah Vikings
UT is much different than AZ that is for sure, but I like the quietness and the folks are much freindlier. That being said its a ghost town around here on a Sunday and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with football. You can get a great seat at a movie or do your grocery shopping with no traffic at all. Unfortunately many things are also closed on Sundays too. I found a "sports bar" close to the campus of BYU and called them the other day because their website says they are closed on Sundays. I asked them if they would be open on Sundays once the NFL season starts and I received a resounding NO.
Its defeintely a culture adjustment up here.

Re: Utah Vikings
Sunday's a day of rest in Utah.
One rule of thumb is the further you get away from Provo the more stores that are open.
People view it as a sin to make someone work on Sunday here. So it's a good day to travel, once you find a place that is open. Even a lot of non LDS buisinessess are closed because no one will go out, so they lose money
