Texas Viking saying hi and some custom McFarlane figures
Skol everyone, I’m a born and bred Minnesotan currently living in Arlington.
In fact, I’m walking distance from the new Cowboys arena.
Been a long time lurker and thought it was about time I joined Purplepride.
Sure is fun being a Viking fan right now, haven’t felt like this since ‘98.
One thing about Favre, at least they are broadcasting more Viking games here this year.
I’ve also began customizing McFarlane figures into some classic Viking players.
Although I’m a long time model builder, I’ve never attempted to remake figures before but it’s been fun.
Stated off making the Purple People Eaters, and then tried something different and built Bud Grant. And finally I had to add a cheerleader to the line-up.
Currently working on a Gary Anderson and Paul Krause.
Sort of my way to pay homage to our Viking legends.
Anyway, hope all are well and here’s to our next win.
That Super Bowl smell is sure getting stronger!
