Thread: A proverbial Newbie

Greetings from Nebraska!

This is a great website, so I'll keep this short so we can all get back to reading other more informative posts.
I'm 35 years old and up until 2 years ago was a casual pro football watcher at best.
Besides, I'm in Big Red country right?
Anyhoo, I meet this girl, she's a Vikings FREAK, we start hanging out, we start watching more and more football, we move in together and in November we went to the Dome for the Vikings/Packers game. I had a blast and now I'm all into the PurplePride.
I'm trying to learn as much as I can by reading the posts here.
It's not been easy but I guess all I need to know this week is we have to beat the Bears.


I mentioned earlier I'm in Big Red country, this is our "Rebuilding" year.
Truth to tell, I think the Vikes are in a rebuilding year themselves so I for one am excited about what's to come.


I like the Vikings, I like to eat wings while watching the Vikings...hence "Vikewings."

I've just been informed we have tickets for the showdown with the Rams in December, I can't wait!

I spent about a month in Nebraska back in the late 80's when I was working on the railroad driving a rail grinder, I had a great time and partied a lot in your state.
