this guy will come back in later in the season..

gus will not be better than T-jack just watch.

T-jack has mobility. and gus doesnt.

plus we lost our probowl Left Tackle. what do you expect when who people say is the best left tackle is gone and your knee isnt 100%?

your throws are going to be bad and your going to need to run for your life.

thats why we should have kept T-jack in.

good luck gus and having a better defencive end in julius "ceaser" peppers going wild on you

I think this is potentially a good move because at this stage of TJack's development, sitting him down will remove a ton of pressure.
Also, I think he might be more effective coming in off the bench; not based on anything other than hunch.
We shall see if he's better in relief, or in charge.

Granted, if Shiancblow catches the TD last weekend, we win and we are not talking about a QB change, but, sadly, he didn't and TJack didn't get the ball in the zone.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

Sorry about TJ but it was a good move. We now have vision in our offense.

    Welcome!

Welcome to the site my newest purple friend.

    Post well and often.

As to TJ, ignore those guys.......

Its normal to groom a QB from the bench and not throw him to the wolves before he is ready in an effort to accelerate his learning curve/development path.

Coach Rogers and the rest of the staff will have smoothed it out with TJ to make him understand that it is for his own good, as well as the team for him to take a step back and learn from the bench as most youngsters do.

When our WR's are a bit healthier and can get a bit better seperation then TJ will come back in.
Until then it is the best move to put out the old Vet who has a bit more confidence in trying to throw a ball to a marginally covered WR that the youngster won't try to throw to.

Long story short, TJ is the future regardless of what the haters think and the staff made the right call to sit him.

Again, welcome to the site my friend.
    ;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    Don't worry.

There will be other QB's to support in the future. He had a crack at the job and although the chances of him becoming a long term starter are remote, he did have a run at it, which is more than you can say for most small school QB's.
