Rogers wont be playing. Farve will be back. He cant live without the butt packing he gets from Madden and the other sport commentators nightly.

Although Rogers looked good coming off the bench last year and moving the offense, so did BB.
But let him plan for a week about the next game and send him out there, see how well he does.
By week 4 this year, you'll be doing the
countdown to the most exciting part of the season...exactly one year from today with a very high pick.
That stick BB will splinter into pea-sized purple pieces the first time he is clocked by Bigby.
Just like when they played last year... oh wait nothing happened

    Re: PackOne has Arrived

    Welcome to the site, PackOne.

I have just been losing my shit over those Brett awards. What is going to happen to all that manlovin now that he's gone? It's enough to pollute at least three of five Great Lakes if you all don't keep it securely in Wisconsin. Please be careful. Only Packers fans would name their online awards after a player instead of the team. I'd like to think that if we did the same we'd call our award the "Berserker" or the "Pillager." You know, something that sounds badass and doesn't deify some bumpkin from a Mississippi backwater.

But in all seriousness. I like to think that we may be entering a new golden age in the NFC North. My prediction is that both the Packers and Vikings will be very good for a long time, something along the lines of the Jaguars and Colts in the AFC South. I don't believe that Rogers will completely suck, neither do I think he's going to blow up the league. But his play will be adequate (not unlike a certain QB named Tarvaris), and with all other factors as they are, I see both of these teams splitting a lot of games. In either case it will (continue to) be a great rivalry, and a whole lot of fun.

    Cheers.

Enter PackOne, die hard Packer fan. Winner of the Brett Award for Biggest Devil's Advocate. All I will advocate for now, is encouraging you all to get some yard work done until the first round is over. You already spent your pick on a fast guy who likes to get hammered. Nice one.
Good to see more pack fans stopping by, for quite a while the only packer fan on the board was a tranny.

Why is it called a Brett you ask? It's kind of like the Emmy's, only a much bigger deal.

Originally a television engineer named Louis McManus designed the
emmy statuette, using his perfect wife as a model.

This is similar to how Brett used his team, to design a World Champion in Green Bay ... the perfect model.

Actually, I didn't ask why, I only said that I thought it was funny. And lame.

But your response just made me shit in my hand and slap myself in the face.

I have seen what Rodgers can do, in practice, and in the game. I think Brett did too.
Didn't Rodgers get hurt during/after his two game appearences, broken foot Pats 06 and hamstring after the Dallas game? Isn't that why Nall was brought in?
Not the same as the other guy...the guy that needed a shave ;D

Well welcome to the board PackOne
