LOL, you crack me up My Sexy Little Pixie.
Its almost like you knew someone would be by soon when you started that one..... ;D
Actually I was looking for that link to post as well.
That is exactly the type of feedback that would be useful IMHO.

    Shame Marty.
    You know better than that.

I have actually exchanged emails with a couple different people from the Marketing Department from teh Vikings over the past year or so, sometimes to mention a problem, sometimes to tell them something that has gone well.
I have found them to be very receptive every time.

From a marketing standpoint I have little to offer.
    marketing isn't my bag.
I will say that I don't really care much about key chains and cheap trinkets.

I think having some of you marketing guys dress up warm and roam
the frozen tailgate lots handing out free crap is a good idea though.
    ;D
Maybe Vikings hats, gloves, scarves, posters.
    Useful, decent items.
You maybe don't have the quantity, but half of the real cheap crap gets left in the stadium anyways.
(that's where I got my AD head, since I arrived late last week)
Unfortunately it broke within seconds of arriving back in the tailgate lot thanks to a rowdy, pumped up Vikings fan.
    (thanks marstc)
    ;D

Another idea would be to hand out free raffle tickets to the fans out before the game.
For random prizes...maybe even some grand prize at the end of the season.
The more you show up the more likely you are to nail more raffle tickets.

Also, if you start handing out nice free shwag, it should be done not at the gate, but out in the tailgate lots and around the plaza where the dedicate fans congregate.
Getting out and mingling "hands on" with the fans is the best thing a marketing department could do.

    Hi.
I hope you'll pardon my initial doubts.
Given the basic spelling and typing errors of your post, I find myself wondering if this is an internet prank.
I find it hard to believe that someone would represent the Vikings on the largest fan forum on the Internet without bother to spell-check prior to posting.

    So - who are you?

I can understand your doubt, but I think your justification for it is a little off...
I ran spell check and everything came through correctly for me...

Your spell check blows. I don't need one.
