Hi.
I'm the Marketing Manger at the Vikings.
I'll admit I'm pretty new to the social networking scene, but I'm a fast learner.
It's important to me that we connect with our fans, so I'm here to talk directly with fans, and hear your advise and comments.
It's obvious that fans like you guys are some of our most dedicated.
So please let me know your thoughts!

I do have a quick question realted to your post (possibly)
Is there a way that the staff can better engage with the local media in an effort that would get a better (more positive) spin out of the local media?
Seems to me that they really don't cut the organization much slack with respect to the progress the team has made with respect to the talent that is on the field (youth vs veterans).
I think one of the most important things to know IS the fact that there are a LOT of dedicated fans out there, especially on this site. One of the things that impresses me most is that Zygi Wilf is willing to go out and tailgate with the fans. I was at the game in Tennessee earlier this year, and Zygi made an appearance in the tailgate lots, shaking hands with the fans, posing for pictures, etc. That kind of attitude goes a long way with the "Joe the Plumber" fans, the ones who would do the most to support Zygi's drive for a new stadium.
Sweet! Nice to have someone who's actually inside the organization we talk about 24/7.
I remember that Brian Robison posted a little on this site for half a year ago or something (I think it was him, it's almost impossible to know for shure).

Traded emails with him before the season started.

This is a very active forum, and more of a discussion based site as opposed to the social networking sites like wearevikingsfans.com (many of us are also members there).
You likely wont find a more dedicated or active Vikings fan base online.
There are a lot of us who literally bleed purple, and have through the good and bad years.
We are proud to be called Minnesota Vikings fans.
I work for a marketing company, and I understand the challenges faced at times. I applaud your decision to connect with regular fans to gather feedback.
As SIA mentioned though, keep a thick skin.
Both jubilation and frustration make regular appearances here.
