[glow=red,2,300]HELLO VIKING FANS!!![/glow]

I am a newbie to the purple pride site.
A little history (don't boo me please) As a kid I always cheered for whatever team played AGAINST the Vikings (except the Packers and the Bears) just to get a rise out of my Dad.
Daddy's little girl liked to mix things up a bit.
I have since converted (about 10 years ago) back to the land of Purple and Gold and am loving it.
I can say I was NEVER a PACKER fan nor will I ever be one!!!

My husband isn't a sports fan of any sort so come football season I am the one on the couch chugging BEER and belching.

:P
He will even invite HIS friends over to watch the game with me...it is crazy!
At least I don't have to compete for the BIG screen.

My 7 year old daughter is even a fan.
Any time the Vikings score she expects everyone to sing the SKOL song.
She has been to one game and will be a Viking fan for life.

Yes Daddy does know best.
It is actually more fun to cheer with him than against him!!!
But as a rebelling teenager no one knew better than me... :

It was too hard to dress the little ones in all different team uniforms so I went with my roots.

I'm somewhat new myself but welcome nonetheless! If you want to see whats happening with the Vikes, there'll be a post up on here within 2 minutes of something happening haha(at least thats what I've found)!

Very true.
I go nowhere else for my Vikings 'fix'.

I have also successully raised my children to be Vikes fans.
My 12 year old daughter can always be found with her father on game day, either at the game or on the couch, singing Skol Vikings at the top of our lungs.
