Hey Everyone
Yes, I'm another new member from Canada.
A few random thoughts for introduction purposes. . .
1)
I've been unofficially dubbed the biggest Vikes fan in my province, Saskatchewan. . . so it's about time I signed up.
I've been peering on this site daily; now I can share my 2 cents (half a cent American, right?).
2)
I'm ready to buy my Peterson jersey.
Before the draft I was thinking that even reaching 6-10 in '08 would be a stretch, but our draft gave me a lot of hope.
I know these rookies probably won't have a huge impact, but the team's moving in the right direction- as many of you have pointed out.
I'm really excited about the 2 back system and pretty much every other pick that we made.
By the way, ordering Vikes gear online has screwed me over before b/c we get a huge shipping bill from the shipping company that's usually worth more than what we purchase- especially if it's with UPS ground.
Any suggestions?

I'm a T-Jack fan.
If 2 of those nice passes that he threw at GBay (to T-Will and was it Taylor?) would have counted, it would have been a whole different story.
4)
Bobby Wade's going to be sweet in the slot.
Smart pick up.
5)
I like what Childress has done with the team, but play calling should be passed off to someone else. . . I don't know who, but someone else nonetheless.
6)
My first and only Vikes game was a few years back against Miami.
Drove 16 hours through a crazy blizzard to get to Minnesota, but loved every minute of it. . . especially when Carter dropped the pass in the endzone, setting up that great field goal to win.
The game didn't mean much to the season, but for Viking Pride it meant a heck of a lot.
Can't wait to get down for another game.

Excellent, sounds like fun.
Not musically gifted myself.
Play the guitar and harmonica and dabble around in other stuff.
Am shitty at all of it.
These days I primarily play folk-type music and listen to a lot of stuff.
Favorites are blues and jazz.
It all depends on what I'm doing.
