    New Member Introduction

    Greetings fellow Vikings fans.
    I'm a new member but a long-time fan- I've got a 1971 team picture on my Viking wall in my den.
    I've been bleeding purple for over 38 years.
    Why a Viking fan from WV you might ask?
    Can't remember really, but I think as a kid I just dug the cool helments.
    Greatest thing is I was finally able to attend a home game in the Metrodome last weekend.
    My girl and I came up to Minneapolis and took in the Mall, downtown, and the Carolina game.
    It rocked!
    Gotta admit I got a little emotional when the Vikes took the field.
    Had a blast!
    Not my first trip to Minneapolis but my first home game.
    I've seen the Vikes a couple times in Pittsburgh and Cincy- not as much fun, to put it mildly.
    Glad to be aboard.
    I'll be watching the game vs. the Titans on my DTV Sunday ticket.
    Gonna be a tough one.
