Thread: New Member From Canada

Hey Everyone,

It's great to find a website like this and I'm excited to talk with you all. I'm from Saskatchewan, Canada and have been a vikings fan for quite some time now. I am going to my first game next Thursday against the bucs and couldn't be more excited. I was wondering if you guys could help me out with a few questions I have. Where is the best place to park? My girlfriend apparently got us "field passes" for before the game that and we pick them up at the media will call, can anyone give me some info on what this "field pass" gets us? Thanks for helping out a fellow vikings fan.

Field passes will let you go on the field/sidelines prior to the game to watch warmups. You are permitted to take pictures, etc. The staff will direct you to the correct spot. For parking on a night game, I might have to leave that to someone as best option who works downtown...but I would assume the Guthrie parking ramp 2.5 blocks north of the dome is a good option. Its what I do if there is no play at night. $20.

What part of Sask are you from, I grew up out there before I fled to BC to escape the wind chill and chubby ukrainian girls

If you're headed to the dome on 94W, you can take the 5th street exit ramp (exit 234B). At the bottom of the ramp there's a parking ramp on your left. When you exit that ramp on the opposite end after the game, it puts you right on 94E heading back in the direction from which you came. The ramp is only a couple of blocks away from the dome.

My guess though is you'll be coming in from another route from Saskatchewan, unless you have a hotel somewhere.
