new guy

another okie here.

adrian peterson is my favortie player in any league and rufus is a big steal.

ive watched these guys play for a long time and i can tell you this much rufus is a sure tackler and has a good nose for the ball,
and peterson you guys will love.

i cant wait to see him bust off a big run for the vikes.

i was not a vikings fan really until now not that i didnt like the vikes i just mainly watched college football.

i have been reading a lot about the vikings and it seems like we have a good team.

it would be sweet if we could do what the saints did last year with there rookies.
i also like the other picks we made it sounds like we got some quality players to fill some slots.

i like the idea of having chester there to help ad carry the load and to show him the ropes.
im sure you guys have probably noticed all the ou fans coming onboard.

adrian and rufus are classy players and i have no doubt when the season starts these guys are going to contribute.

Im calling it right now ADRIAN PETERSON ROOKIE OF THE YEAR.

I love the fact that we got Adrian Peterson. Just remember it's a team sport. And the team is allways the greater than the players (to most of us anyway).

Peterson is gonna be

GREAT

at the pro level because the other team can't afford to have 8 guys trying to stop him like they did in college.
Also he will get to catch more balls on swing passes and such where is really dangerous.
He was ready fro the NFL as a freshman.


The only critique I ever had of Adrian was that he tried too hard to make something out of nothing by dancing around at the line of scrimmage instead of just lowering his head and taking the two or three yard gain.
That's how he got that high ankle sprain his sophomore year.
They will coach that out of him in the pros.

They had Fran "the man", Amahad Rashad and the Purple People Eater defense.

I graduated in 1979.
You were probably pretty close (within 5 years of the) I would assume

im just excited about this team and what they could do.
i dont know if i can hold out till preseason.
i think nfl channel is going to show some minicamps that would be sweet.
i would like to hear some of your opinions on the team, somebody fill me in
on the strenghts and weaknesses of the team.
is jackson gonna be the qb for years to come and is the greenway lb from last year ready to play?
what are your expectations for next year?

all ive heard is the left side of the line is really good and your defense is good especially against the run
