lonely vikes fan in green bay

Long time fan, moved to the Green Bay area in May. I live about 15 minutes from Lambeau, and this has been one of the hardest football seasons ever! Not only has the pack humiliated us, but I'm literally afraid to wear any Vikings stuff around here. Maybe that means I'm not as hard core as I'd like to be, but it's lonely out here. I really need to find more Vikes fans around here. Any ideas or suggestions?

Welcome, I'm sure there is an underground group of hard core Vikings fans that meets secretly nearby.

Assuming that moving away ASAP is out of the question I think you should get a job in the Packers front office and provide insider personnel information to us and the Vikings administration.

Thanks soooo much to all for the support! I will check into secret meetings, or maybe even start one! That would really irritate the insane packer backer across the street! As far as working in the pack front office.......don't know if I could stoop that low, but I like the idea of espionage! This site rocks!!!!!!!!!!

There are plenty of Vikings fans from the state of Sconny here, although I'm not sure any live in Green Bay.
I feel sorry for you man, being a Vikings fan, I can think of few places worse to live.

I also live in WI, but I am not afraid to wear my jerseys here or support my team. My 8 ft. Vikings banner is proudly dispayed on my garage & my 3x5 Vikings flag waves all season long atop my flag pole for all who drive by to see.

Don't be afraid to wear the purple. i lived there for 5 years and gave them shit right back. I go up there a lot to still hang out with buddies and go to the Packer/Viking game.
